Cynthia’s career began in fashion, film/tv, and the arts, evolving into a dynamic journey across industries. As a Costume Designer, she created iconic looks for Scream, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Grey’s Anatomy, Medium, Private Practice, and Ringer, among others. Her work in entertainment shaped the visual storytelling of an era, inspiring fans and pop culture alike.
Cynthia has since evolved into a creative strategist, nonprofit executive, and brand storyteller. Today, she channels her passion for visual and narrative impact into helping organizations build meaningful connections, inspire communities, and create lasting change.
Motivated by a passion for purpose-driven work, Cynthia has dedicated herself to helping organizations articulate their missions, craft compelling narratives, and engage audiences in meaningful ways. Her expertise now spans nonprofit leadership, philanthropy, lifestyle-wellness, and the performing arts, where she merges strategic vision with creative execution.
As the Executive Director of a breast cancer foundation, Cynthia leads efforts to advance health equity, cultivate donor and community relationships, steward philanthropic investments, and ensure critical resources reach individuals and families navigating breast cancer. Drawing on her background in storytelling, marketing, and relationship building, she brings a uniquely human-centered approach to leadership, one that unites strategy, compassion, and purpose in service of meaningful social impact.
Rooted in the progressive cultures of Northern and Southern California, Cynthia finds inspiration in nature, often hiking and running the trails of Marin County, capturing its beauty through her lens.
